$revenue (pronounced "dollar revenue") are some shady guys who distribute poorly-programmed spyware.

Symptoms of a $revenue infection

• A poorly-designed window appears covering the entire screen.
• You get lots of ads.
• Your computer slows down to a halt.
• There's some funny program files with Visual Basic icons lurking every where.

Their web site has a bunch of creepy-looking arrows. In Ackphth!!!pets they are known as Mousepad, Keyboard, and Newname.

So how does one get infected?

Well...

• You downloaded a trojan from some warez site. (this happened to User:Abwayax once)
• You got hit with the Alcan P2P Worm (this happened to User:Abwayax too)

DDoS

They are also the people who DDoS'ed Webhelper4u.com. That was truly an excellent site, with stuff about those evil CWS and Transpoder characters. Webhelper has a site at Webhelper4u.net now, but it only has four pages on it. :(

They also continued to DDoS webhelper4u.net. For a while Webhelper was forced to password protect his site to prevent this, but he lifted the password protection as of now.
