The original forum that started it all, TGS fell apart quickly when everyone "turned into Nazi's about spam and anything else considered fun". Everything was going somewhat well for a while, until [[Ragnarok]] flipped out, banning and deleting [[Abwayax]] and [[Izwzyzx]], holding the forum as ransom. Somehow Shinatoa got drafted into helping get the site back, and it was decided by the admins that Ragnarok had to go. As usual with TGS rulings, the decision was overturned in about three days.


Then the administration decided to remove the most active board on the forums, the Spam Can, causing everyone to freak out and complain. (This was, of course, decided after a poll where the users almost unanimously voted to '''keep''' the Spam Can.) Then the Warnings Thread came to life, causing people to get upset over the warnings issued for things that had not been a problem in the past.


One of the other major flaws was that the Administration was much too large, due to administrators who happily gave just about anyone full power over the boards. This caused usurpation on multiple occasions such as:


* The Usurpation by Abwayax, Izwzyzx, and Ragnarok
* The Usurpation by Ragnarok

Version 2 of The Glitch Society was established on InvisionFree when the web host of the original TGS went down temporarily. It never had as much activity as the original and became unused once the original forum returned. It was later wiped out and shut down, and now serves as a memorial to the ruined "society".
 
The Glitch Society 2 was established when Freebb shut down The Glitch Society for a long period of time. The site was later shut down when activity dropped to zero by the return of the original TGS from the grave of freebb.

Requiem Glitches was an atempt to bring back TGS to its old self by starting over with a new beginning. [[Mwak|Mwak]] and [[Marry|Marry]] quickly learned from the dumb mistakes made by making new TGS's when the fact that Watermeleon destroyed any chances of survival A Glitch Society could have, they came up with a new plan to take away the bad name of Glitch Society that followed Marry wherever he went and started making a new site that wouldnt have the tag of The Glitch Society's past following them where ever they went.

Even though they both make many mistakes, they tend to learn from them and learn that running forums are harder than they appear...like objects in mirrors.

[[Marry]] is the sole creator of the Glitch Society. Throughout TGS I, II, and RG's life forum span of life, They have stuck together as the two rulers of the TGS kingdom.

[[Mwak]] came in during the 2nd month of TGS's reign. He become the admin and has sustained that position on TGS I, II, and created RG while admining it with his buddy Marry.
 
===2005-2007===
From the year 2005, when [[The Glitch Society]] was first created to 2007 when Requiem Glitches was created and [[Watermeleon]] was taken away to the mental faculty he so long deserved to occupy even though he'd probably destroy it like everything else he touches, both Marry and Mwak have stuck through as the main admin of TGS. Even though [[Abwayax|A Maverick Renagade]] seems to despite Mwak, the two friends seem to pull TGS through its darkest times...but only time will tell how long TGS will last before the forum goes to hell.
